Music
Music is introduced into the days’ programme as a means of stimulus, as an accompaniment to other activities, or because it is enjoyable and appropriate.
The children are taught to:
- sing songs from memory and perform as a group.
- play percussion instruments while others sing
- write down what they play
- listen to music from different times and places and say what they feel about it
