We are learning about 'going Eco' in school.
In the Autumn Term, our focus has been on re-thinking our rubbish to avoid it going to landfill. We have been reusing rubbish and learning how to recycle.
'People who were in the war didn't throw away their clothes, they re-used them' Harris (Year 2) 'Rag-rugging was very good, we used clothes' ( Zurie Year 2) 'We learnt not to throw food away we can make compost' (Faith, Year 1) 'Put rubbish in the right bins' ( Beau Year 1) 'You can turn a bottle into a bird feeder' ( Poppy Year 2) ' I can turn the squah bottle into a rocket ship' ( Marni Year One)
We have noticed that Fran is in school very early making our delicious lunches but we ned to reduce the waste from uneaten food.
