THE NATIONAL CURRICULUM
Pupils follow the National Curriculum from Year 1.
It is divided into 8 levels and pupils are expected to complete level 2 by the end of their time in infant school.
This is called Key Stage 1.
The curriculum is taught mainly through a series of mini topics, but reading, writing and mathematic skills are taught separately.
We provide the children with first hand, practical experiences.
Sometimes the children are taught as a class, sometimes in groups and sometimes individually.
